Wolves fans were not impressed by one player’s performance against Fulham, and he didn’t even start.
Molineux was hoping to see a second consecutive win for the Old Gold after a valiant performance against Bournemouth.
Instead, home fans saw the Wolves squad crumble in the opening seconds of the game, as Fulham took the lead in the first minute.
The same happened after the interval, as Rodrigo Muniz got the better of Jose Sa to restore the visitor’s lead early into the second half.
Vitor Pereira was furious with his team’s lack of application after the restart, with matters not made any easier by the substitutes, with one generating a lot of unwanted attention.

Wolves fans take aim at Jorgen Strand Larsen after Fulham defeat
Pereira made three changes in the fixture, welcoming Pablo Sarabia, Tommy Doyle and Jorgen Strand Larsen to the contest.
The latter was introduced first, replacing Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who impressed fans before he was hooked rather unexpectedly.
The Frenchman’s replacement flattered to deceive, as Strand Larsen had eight touches in his 25-minute cameo and was completely isolated up front, which enraged Wolves fans.
“Strand Larsen’s movement was atrocious,” a fed-up fan said, “Gave no option. Surely had to bring on Lima and didn’t understand Bellegarde sub.”
The Norwegian is a target man for the Old Gold but isn’t winning fans over with his inability to get himself into the game.
“JSL just stood and allowed himself to be marked,” a supporter said on X, taking aim at the summer signing’s lack of desire to come to the ball.
Strand Larsen’s cameo far from impressed supporters, which was frustrating given that Wolves were in desperate need of a goal after conceding so early into the second half.
“Personally thought it got significantly worse when JSL came on. Couldn’t win a header, hold the ball up, move or even bother trying,” a fan said, with another agreeing with a similar verdict.
“Didn’t think JSL offered a great deal but was held back by the time he came on as the zip and pace of the game seemed to fall off.”
Others were more direct in their assessment of the striker, as one asked if the Celta Vigo loanee’s deal could be overturned.
“Can we get cancel the Strand Larsen deal, bang average.”
Another Wolves fan called Pereira ‘pathetic’ for calling on the number nine to come on and make a difference when the Old Gold were searching for an equaliser.
“Pathetic when you’re bringing JSL on to make the difference.”
Strand Larsen was non-existent against Fulham
Fans have noticed how poor the Norway international’s movement has been, which is something that has been commented on before with regard to Gary O’Neil’s signing.
Strand Larsen was described as ‘isolated’ in January, with the consensus being that while the forward is a target man, he’s not putting in the work to get himself more involved in the game.
Jorgen Strand Larsen vs Fulham |
25 minutes |
8 touches |
0 shots |
1 pass completed |
0 duel wins |
5x possession lost |
Such was evident against Fulham, as the former La Liga ace completed only one pass in 25 minutes and won no duels – losing possession five times.
With Goncalo Guedes and Hwang Hee-chan injured, Strand Larsen really must step up if he is to improve in his first season at Molineux.
