Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have hailed the performance of Willy Boly in last night’s defeat to Liverpool.
The 30-year-old was back in the starting XI after missing a handful of games with a hamstring injury.
He was on the bench for the previous two games against Manchester City and Aston Villa but saw no action.
My Revenge On Ben Foster

The Reds were far from their best, and had ex-Wolves star Diogo Jota, of course, to thank for the three points.
The 24-year-old scored just before half-time on his first appearance back at Molineux since his big-money move last year.
The game was unfortunately overshadowed when Rui Patricio had to be stretchered off the pitch after an accidental collision with teammate Conor Coady.

The well wishes of all football fans are with the 33-year-old Portugal number one, as they were with Raul Jimenez back in November.
Thankfully, Nuno Espirito Santo said after the game that he was conscious and talking.
Boly’s return to action was filled with headed clearances and general solidity, and was perhaps the biggest positive for Wolves on the night.
Some fans paid tribute to him after his performance on social media:
1) I’ll give my thoughts now we know Rui is ok.
Thought it was our best overall performance for a while. Boly excellent. Jonny Excellent. Semedo Excellent. Moutinho excellent. Neves Solid.
Absolutely nothing going on up front though. Few runs from Adama, no end product…#wwfc

Actually played pretty well but when you have no final ball or finish it’s irrelevant. At least 15 very good chances to get someone in on goal & nothing! Thought Joao was superb & Boly makes us play football! #wwfc

Thoughts with Rui. A much improved Wolves performance just missing that bit of quality in the most important area of the pitch. Moutinho was very impressive as was Boly and Neves. Even my red mates couldn’t believe that refereeing performance though #wwfc

Right good performance I thought yet they still had the better chances
Could’ve had a pen
Semedo, Neves, Neto, Boly class
The hope sucked out of me at this point
