Wolverhampton Wanderers have lost 1-0 in the Premier League for a third game running, this time against Manchester United.
Despite the end result, it was another positive display from Bruno Lage’s men.
They took the game to United from the first whistle, and were easily the better side.
Unfortunately, it was the same story as against Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Wolves just could not score.
It is unfathomable how Wolves, again, failed to take anything from an encounter they dominated.
Francisco Trincao had a goal-bound effort cleared away in the first half.
And Romain Saiss saw two efforts saved from point-black range in the second.
Mason Greenwood scored for the visitors, with referee Mike Dean controversially not blowing for a free-kick on Ruben Neves.
They really did give it everything, on a day that Wolves announced a new signing in Hwang Hee-chan.
The South Korea international was unveiled just before kick-off at Molineux.
Lage will be hoping he can increase the attacking threat going forwards.
On social media, fans have been praising Trincao for his contributions in the game.
The youngster on loan from Barcelona got his first goal against Nottingham Forest earlier this week, and was bright at Molineux against the Red Devils.
He’s looked a little tenative so far in the Premier League, but he looked confident today.
Perhaps he could have been more decisive with his first-half effort, but it was good defending in fairness to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
He certainly looks like he’s got goals and assists in him.
Here’s what some people were saying about him on social media:
By the way how good is trincao #WWFC

How? Just how? 😩😩😩 @Wolves
Another great display of football but still yet to score a goal.
Trincao and Adama were class today. I still believe the goals will come, then there will be no stopping us 🙏🏼🧡#WOLMUN #wwfc #wolves pic.twitter.com/THySS7enVG

Another absolutely scintillating first half performance – just lacking a goal 🙄😩
Traore – Unplayable. Trincao – his best game so far. Neves running the show.
But Max Kilman. Goodness me 😍 #wwfc
