Wolverhampton Wanderers have lost 1-0 to Everton in their penultimate Premier League game of the season.
Richarlison got the only goal of the game, powering home a header in the second-half.
The Brazilian took advantage of some poor marking and defending, in a scene that has been all too common this season for Wolves.
Nuno’s side had the lion’s share of possession in the game, but struggled to do much with it.
There have been far worse performances this season, but there was again just a real toothlessness, and the midfield was especially poor.
Wolves undoubtedly should have had a penalty in the second-half when Abdoulaye Doucoure clearly moved his arms towards the ball.
Ultimately Wolves didn’t really deserve anything from the game, and Nuno will now hope to pick his players up for the final game against Manchester United on Sunday.
One man who did have a good game for Wolves was Adama Traore.
The Spaniard was by far the biggest threat for the away side and at times looked like the only one who was even trying to make something happen in the final third.
One of his runs that beat three Toffees players was a particular highlight.
On social media amid the fury at the collective performance, there was some praise for Traore:
Traore easily motm tonight, if anything was going to happen it was going to go through him. Just didn’t have the support around the box, same old story folks #wwfc

Once again Traore our best player. He’s found some consistency in his game. Absolute handful. #WWFC

If Jeff is watching that and doesn’t think we need to tie down Traore on a new deal ASAP, I give up #wwfc #Traore

We are a joke. Only player to come away with any credit there is Traore again. #wwfc

A decent first half but what confidence #wwfc had was shot after the Everton goal.
Adama was tremendous up until about 70 mins where he was gassed, almost unplayable until then.
Incorrect changes for me & very slow to react to the Everton goal.

Not a bad performance, but we barely ever look like scoring.
Adama MOTM by a mile, Moutinho looked yards off it.Yet again another awful ref.
Bring on the summer.#wwfc
