Wolves fans have been heaping praise on Conor Coady, after he put in a heroic performance against Liverpool yesterday.

Wanderers supporters will be waking up today feeling extremely disappointed after the 1-0 defeat.

EVERTON ARE UTTER GARBAGE NOW.

Wolves didn’t show much going forwards, but were absolutely outstanding defensively.

Bruno Lage’s side contained and frustrated Liverpool all game.

But in the 94th minute, with the outstanding Rayan Ait-Nouri having left the action after succumbing to injury, Liverpool broke Wolves hearts, with Mo Salah squaring for Divock Origi to score.

It was a cruel blow, with the players having given absolutely everything for the cause.

One man who will be especially gutted is Coady.

The star put in perhaps his best display of the season against his former club.

His highlight was when he somehow denied former Molineux star Diogo Jota on the goal line.

Prior to that, Coady took a heavy blow in the first-half, and showed signs of discomfort in the second.

But he battled hard, making many clearances and blocks, and just didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.

On social media, Wolves fans were, of course, gutted with the end result.

But many were still able to see the positives, with Coady coming in for particular praise.

He is certainly in good form right now, as are his two centre-back colleagues Max Kilman and Romain Saiss.

It bodes well for the coming games.
