Wolves fell to their first defeat since Vitor Pereira’s appointment as Nottingham Forest cruised to a 3-0 victory at Molineux.
Morgan Gibbs-White opened the scoreline early on before Chris Wood netted the visitors second just before half-time.
Taiwo Awoniyi then netted Forest’s third late on to increase Wolves’ relegation fears.
While the scoreline may have been flattering to the visitors, the hosts simply did not do enough and failed to take their chances.
With the club only above the relegation zone on goal difference, Wolves could be in big trouble as the month goes on.
Now, fans have taken aim at Hwang Hee-Chan after his performance vs Forest.

Hwang Hee-Chan put in one of the ‘worst Wolves performances of all-time’ vs Nottingham Forest

Hwang had found his form again under Pereira. The South Korean international scored in his two previous matches before the Forest match which earned him a start on Monday night.
However, his performance was far from inspiring. The attacker had little influence on the game as Wolves struggled to score past the Nuno’s side.
Fans were quick to take to X, formerly Twitter, to express their anger with Hwang.
There is now a real concern that if Hwang does not score, he has little to no influence on the game.
This was evident after he netted an early opener against Spurs and has now continued against Forest.
It’s time for Wolves to sell Hwang Hee-Chan

In Wolves’ current situation, the club simply cannot afford to be carrying confidence players such as Hwang.
The club are in desperate need of players who can consistently influence the game and score goals.
Apart from Matheus Cunha, Wolves have no one else who can complete this role which needs to be solved in January.
With West Ham now pursuing Hwang, the club should now use this opportunity to sell the attacker and bring in someone more consistent.
