Wolves’ horrendous season continues, with the team losing 2-0 against Brentford at Molineux today.
There was big news on Friday night as Jeff Shi stepped down as chairman following increasing pressure on him and Fosun from fans.
Nathan Shi has come in as his replacement on an interim basis.
Who was the biggest Wolves disappointment vs Brentford?🤕
But it was the same old story for Wolves on the pitch, as the players turned in another awful display against the Bees.
Shocking defending saw Keane Lewis-Potter score a brace, and Wolves once again offered nothing in the final third.
There was a chance to set up an interesting finish when Matt Doherty won a penalty. But Jorgen Strand Larsen’s feeble attempt was easily saved.
Wolves remain stuck on two points, and that Derby County points record is genuinely looking in danger of being broken.
On social media tonight, fans have been talking about Rob Edwards following some odd decisions.

Some Wolves fans are now already questioning Rob Edwards

It has been an awful start to life as Wolves manager for Rob Edwards.
He sparked a lot of controversy when he took the job, leaving Middlesbrough with whom he’d started the season really well.
But Wolves were a dream job for Edwards, who felt he could not pass up the opportunity, despite how bad the situation is.
That dream is quickly turning into a nightmare though – and some fans are already starting to turn.
Some feel Wolves are actually now playing worse under Edwards than Vitor Pereira, and the statistic that Wolves have been drawing at half-time in every game under Edwards so far, but going on to lose, is damning.
Having not picked up a single point after six games, how are you feeling about Rob Edwards? 🤔
It's been a terrible start…
@onlyonebman: “Rob Edwards is not the answer, thankfully we are finding that out now. Can’t carry on losing matches it’s absolutely pathetic.”
@_liama_: “I am not trusting Rob Edwards to take us back up personally.”
@stephenskippy: “Rob Edwards is out of his depth.”
@G60bully: “Can anyone explain what Rob Edwards has ever done to warrant getting the job? Apart from being a local lad. A proper manager would be getting results now, as bad as the players are.”
@kingkevg1: “Rob Edwards OUT I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt but it’s not working out. The uplifting words are not matching the performances on the pitch time to go 🐺😡
@daveandwolves: “A lesson in how to play football by two ex-Wolves players. Keith Andrews, who plays front foot positive attacking football. Rob Edwards everyone behind the ball and no attacking intent. Rob Edwards has made Wolves look like a 4th division relegation side in his first few months.”
@BellegardeSZN: “Rob Edwards would be better at CB than in the dugout.”
Edwards dealt a terrible hand, but he needs points
The frustrations of the fans are understandable, and it is right that Edwards is starting to come under some scrutiny.
Yes, this is potentially one of the worst squads ever assembled and half of the players this season have been a disgrace.
But there is something seriously wrong under Edwards for Wolves to have been level-pegging with their opponent in all six games so far, but going on to lose.
Whatever Edwards is saying at half-time just isn’t working.

And although Wolves have injury problems at the moment, there have been some questionable selection decisions from Edwards – the continued picking of Jorgen Strand Larsen remains baffling for many.
There has been public backing for Edwards so there doesn’t appear to be any chance of him actually getting sacked.
But it really is hard to see where there have been any improvements and he will need to start getting some points on the board before much longer.
