Wolves are finally back in Premier League action tonight, taking on West Ham United at Molineux.
It has been 17 days since fans got to see Vitor Pereira’s players in action against Southampton, which saw Wolves go nine points clear of the relegation zone.
The job is nearly done for Pereira. A positive result tonight and then beating Ipswich Town at the weekend would all but confirm the club’s survival.
Some, like Alan Shearer, do think the relegation battle is already over.
But fans won’t stop fretting until relegation is mathematically impossible – and tonight’s game against West Ham represents a chance to get more points on the board.
And in the last moments, Pereira has named the Wolves team that will start.
Wolves confirmed team news vs West Ham – Unchanged side, as Sam Johnstone returns to the bench

Pereira had no injury concerns going into this game and has therefore been able to field a strong side – and in fact, for the third game running he has gone unchanged.
Jose Sa continues in goal, and the back three consists of Matt Doherty, Emmanuel Agbadou and Toti Gomes.
Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri are the wing-backs, as expected.
Joao Gomes – fresh from signing his new contract at Wolves – pairs up with Andre in midfield.
The continued absence of Matheus Cunha sees Jean-Ricner Bellegarde play in the forward line as an inside forward.
Marshall Munetsi keeps his place, with Jorgen Strand Larsen leading the line, hoping to build on his brace against Southampton.
£10 million man (BBC Sport) Sam Johnstone is back on the bench or Wolves after missing the trip to Southampton. Johnstone missed out against Southampton as his wife was having a baby.
But there is no Goncalo Guedes or Rodrigo Gomes in the matchday squad.
Wolves looking to avoid unwanted record against West Ham
Fans are optimistic of a result tonight – but Wolves could match an unwanted record if things go south against West Ham.
If Wolves lose tonight then it will be back-to-back home defeats against West Ham.
That has not happened since a run of three straight losses between 1920 and 1922.
West Ham haven’t had the season fans were hoping for after hiring Julen Lopetegui ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
But they’re under Graham Potter now and have improved, so this will be a good test for Wolves.
