Gary O’Neil confirms illness has struck Wolves squad

Going into Liverpool, Wolves were already in a pickle regarding squad selection. Yerson Mosquera is confirmed to be out for the season after suffering an ACL injury.

However, things only got worse on Friday as O’Neil confirmed many of the Wolves squad may not be able to play due to illness.

He said: “Bentley is fine now, but there’s quite a bit of illness with players that will need a check. There’s a virus going around and some players missed training today.”

O’Neil then added: “Some lads will struggle for tomorrow, but it’s not definite. Bentley had his for a couple days before he felt better.”
