Wolves lost their latest Premier League game against Chelsea – and Matheus Cunha came in for criticism from Vitor Pereira after the game.
Wolves fell to a 3-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke were all on target for the hosts, with poor defending costing Wolves once more.
There was very little attacking threat from Wolves as well as the poor defending, and Cunha had a very poor night.
Wolves fans accused Cunha of looking disinterested against Chelsea.
Then, after the full-time whistle, Cunha headed straight down the tunnel.
At one point during the first-half, TV cameras focused on Cunha in a pitchside conversation with Pereira, and he looked very frustrated.
After the game, Pereira let his feelings about Cunha be known.
Pereira calls out Matheus Cunha’s body language against Chelsea

On Monday morning, there were reports that Cunha and his agent were stalling over a new contract at Wolves, despite there being a verbal agreement.
That left some supporters on edge, and some feel that there may have been developments behind the scenes based on how Cunha played against Chelsea.
Some feel that he really let himself down with his body language at times.
And that is an opinion Pereira himself shared.
Speaking after the game, he called Cunha out by saying (via journalist Nizaar Kinsella): “He’s a captain. He can be frustrated as he wants to win but everyone in the dressing room wants to win. I don’t like his body language. I understand it now, I won’t understand it next time.”
Cunha’s Wolves immediate future could now be in doubt
Cunha was extremely disappointing against Chelsea, more so because of the way he acted rather than how he played.
He was probably Wolves’ most likely source of a goal on the night, although it was far from a good performance.
But at times he just strolled about, and also acted petulantly when something happened that he didn’t like – such as when Jorgen Strand Larsen couldn’t find him with a cross in the second-half. He also cut a very frustrated figure when talking to Pereira who was trying to show him his tactics board.
Cunha’s future now seems to be in a bit of doubt.
The coming days will be absolutely fascinating now Pereira has called him out publicly for his body language.
Hopefully, this will blow over and he stays, but at the same time, Pereira needs players who are fully committed to the cause at Molineux.
