Vitor Pereira has spoken out after his side fell to another loss in the Premier League, and this time to Fulham.
The Cottagers were on a streak of four games without a win, and it seemed like the Old Gold could have a chance of getting three points prior to kick-off.
However, Vitor Pereira’s team selection left much to be desired, and the decision to drop both Andre and Joao Gomes was strange.
Supporters were bemused, and after going 1-0 down due to Ryan Sessegnon’s opener, the travelling Wolves fans burst into chants for the Brazilians.
Sam Johnstone would later call the performance ’embarrassing’, and there are no other words to describe it.
The head coach has now given his verdict on the match.

Vitor Pereira calls Wolves’ performance against Fulham one of the ‘worst’ he has seen
Wolves were not great against Fulham, and that was even before Emmanuel Agbadou received a controversial red card.
There were never any signs of the Old Gold scoring, and Jorgen Strand Larsen could not even muster a single attempt at goal.
Vitor Pereira’s future is undoubtedly in question now, and it seems like a matter of when and not if he gets sacked.
However, he is still in charge for now, and he has delivered his reaction to the match.
Speaking after the game via BBC Sport, Pereira said, “Maybe the worst performance from my team. Maybe the worst technically, tactically, and physically.
“We suffered. I never saw my team playing at the level we can play, the level we showed in the last game. I don’t know if we didn’t recover. I changed players to find energy.
“11v11 it was a mistake when we conceded the goal. After the red card, it was very difficult for us. Now, [I’m] trying to understand, and we need to have a conversation to understand how it’s possible to play as we did in the second half of the last game and then today.”
Vitor Pereira gives reaction to fans chanting for him to be sacked
The Wolves head coach was also asked about the fans calling for him to be let go at full-time.
Chants of ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’ ensued from the away supporters as Vitor Pereira looked on sombrely in the middle of the pitch.
The 57-year-old said, “Today I’m not proud about our work. I don’t need anybody to judge my work; I judge my work, and I judge myself. I know my team can play at a better level. Today it was not the case. Everyone must assume responsibility.
“I’m not worried about myself. I’m worried about my team. What we showed today, we need to talk about it. I cannot accept what we did today.”
Unfortunately for Pereira, his time is coming to an end.
There is no clear path for Wolves to climb out of the bottom three anytime soon, and Wolves look devoid of any sort of confidence.
Fans have turned on him, things are beginning to get toxic, and the best decision for all parties is to go their separate ways.
It will be interesting to see if he is still in charge when Wolves play Chelsea next weekend
