Vitor Pereira makes Wolves vs Man City prediction
Man City beat Wolves late at Molineux back in October, when Gary O’Neil was manager of the Old Gold.
Now, Guardiola will come up against a completely transformed Wolves squad led by Pereira, who is already imagining what could happen over 90 minutes at the Etihad.
Speaking to the media ahead of the contest, the Wolves manager revealed his prediction over how the game could pan out with regard to possession and chances at both ends.
“Of course, City will have more possession than us, but we will have chances to create,” Pereira said in his pre-match press conference.
“We need to show tactical maturity,” he continued.
“I’m there to help them, but as a team we need to have a brain and I believe we are ready and prepared.”
Wolves are one of the most in-form sides in Europe right now, giving the West Midlands club full confidence ahead of their trip to Manchester.
Pereira will be eager to get his first win over Guardiola in his career and in England, with a record-breaking three points on the line.

The Portuguese coach could lead his side to make Wolves history, as against Leicester City, the Old Gold equalled their six-match winning streak tally.
Despite all of the positivity around the squad at present, the boss remains focused on the task at hand, which is to beat Man City.
In his pre-match press conference, Pereira revealed that he’s hopeful that he will have a fully fit squad available to him.
“[There are] small problems, but nothing special, hopefully everyone will be available,” he said to the media.
It’s set to be a Friday night thriller at the Etihad as Wolves face City, with a win holding great significance to both clubs at this moment of the season.
