Wolves fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Brentford, and after the game Thierry Henry praised the impact of Angel Gomes.
Rob Edwards’ side showed real character at the Gtech Community Stadium, and it could have been all three points for the visitors.
The Old Gold were poor in the first-half, and trailed 2-1 at the halfway stage after goals by Michael Kayode and Igor Thiago.
Adam Armstrong’s strike just before the break kept Wolves in it though.
Whatever Edwards said at half-time worked, because Wolves were much improved in the second-half, eventually finding an equaliser through Tolu Arokodare.
Thierry Henry impressed by Angel Gomes as Wolves fight back vs Brentford

Speaking straight after the game on Monday Night Football, pundit Thierry Henry gave credit to Angel Gomes for his contributions to the draw.
Gomes was introduced at half-time in place of Mateus Mane, who struggled to make an impact.
Henry said: “I love what Rob Edwards did, straight away by putting Angel Gomes in midfield to have more control in the game, and they did have control in the game.
“They really went forward, Brentford didn’t know what to do with it. But really, when Angel Gomes came on, he changed the game.”
Sky then spoke to Edwards, who confirmed the plan was to make use of Gomes’ ability to play between the lines and that the nature of game meant he was needed.
As per Sofascore data, Gomes did not misplace a single pass, completing all 18 he attempted. He also contested five duels, winning two.
A missed opportunity for Wolves, but more positive signs
This could easily have been another victory for Wolves, given how good that second-half showing was.
Sadly Wolves just didn’t quite have luck on their side, with Tolu’s header hitting the crossbar.

To have closed the gap to safety to 10 points would have been most ideal, and further raised team spirit and morale.
But there were more positives to take from tonight’s game despite the draw, and further suggestions that Wolves are in safe hands with Edwards in the longer term.
