Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans on Twitter were delighted with Morgan Gibbs-White following the academy product’s first Premier League goal for the club against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The youngster’s winner completed a turnaround for Wolves who had gone into the dressing room at half-time 1-0 down.
In a much improved second-half display, Wolves quickly caused the Seagulls problems after Vitinha played his Portuguese compatriot, Fabio Silva, in behind the Brighton defence.

A subsequent foul on Silva led to a red card for Brighton’s first-half goalscorer, Lewis Dunk, and Wolves took complete control of the game.
Firstly they equalised through Adama Traore, who came off the bench to play a one-two with Silva before side-footing it past Brighton’s goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez.

It looked like Wolves had spurned the golden chance to win it after Gibbs-White missed an open goal in the final 10 minutes of the game.
The midfielder showed great character to make sure he did not miss again at the second time of asking. A blocked shot in the area fell to the midfielder who sumptuously curled the ball into the top corner of the Brighton goal.
It meant Wolves won the game thanks to Gibbs-White, who has found game time hard to come by in recent times.

Today was only his second start of the season, whilst the former England under 21 international was sent on loan to Championship club, Swansea, for the first half of the campaign.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old attacking midfielder took five shots and two were on target, had a pass accuracy of 92.7%, took 82 touches, made one tackle and one interception, and put in four crosses.
It seems that some fans were delighted that Gibbs-White had the final say on proceedings at Molineux today, after plenty of them expressing their satisfaction on Twitter.
