Wolves are back in Premier League action on Saturday, and take on Everton at Goodison Park.
It is a bottom of the table clash, with the Toffees having replaced Wolves right at the very bottom after their hammering by Aston Villa.
Wolves, who sit 19th, are looking to get their first points of the season under Gary O’Neil.
There has been positive signs in the first two games against Manchester United and Brighton – mainly against the former.
Wolves are at least creating a lot of chances.
But it’s just about becoming more clinical in the final third – an issue that has long plagued Wolves.
It’s a huge game against Everton, and Paul Merson has made his score prediction for the contest.
Paul Merson makes prediction for Everton vs Wolves
There is potential for this to be a real scrap.
Both teams are wanting to get off the mark, and it could be an ugly affair.

Merson expects it to be a very closely contest.
But he is actually backing Everton to come out on top at their home ground.
Predicting a 1-0 win for the Toffees, he said (Sportskeeda): “This is a huge game. I wasn’t shocked by Everton’s result against Aston Villa. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is injured again, and I don’t know how Everton can score a goal. They’re good at set-pieces, but their forwards struggled to score goals for them last season.
“If both teams play the way they did in their first games of the season, this one should be a cracker. I think the odd goal could win this game. The team that loses this match is in for a long season – I have no doubt about that.
“I had both these teams in the relegation zone at the start of the Premier League season and two weeks on, nothing has changed. Everton might be able to get to Wolves if they play at a high tempo, and I think they have a slight upper hand this weekend.”
A huge game for both teams
This is already a big game for both sides, both in terms of getting points on the board and landing a psychological blow on the opponent.
Wolves and Everton could both be in for very difficult seasons.

But there have been real positives signs from Wolves’ first one-and-a-half games in the Premier League.
Hopefully, Wolves can start converting some of the chances they create and really get their campaign up and running.
