Wolves welcome Sean Dyche and Everton to Molineux for the final game of 2023 on Saturday, here’s our predicted line-up.
Gary O’Neil can see his Wolves side make it three in a row on Saturday as he welcomes Everton to Molineux. This game comes as the final fixture for both sides this calendar year.
Wolves have won both their games over the festive period so far beating both Chelsea and Brentford back to back with the latter being an impressive 4-1 result. A top this Wolves are also unbeaten in their previous seven fixtures at Molineux which no doubt will be a real area of confidence for O’Neil.
The game will see one notable absence for Wolves with Mario Lemina potentially out of the game due to personal reasons. Meanwhile Pedro Neto will be one step closer to regaining his place in the starting line-up.
Elsewhere, Craig Dawson has been declared fit to return here however he could face a battle to regain his place with 25-year-old Santiago Bueno impressing against Brentford.
With all this in mind, here is our predicted Wolves line-up to face Everton…

Wolves predicted line-up to face Everton
Wolves will undoubtedly go strong here as O’Neil looks to round the year out with a win which could be huge and result in Wolves entering 2024 in the top half of the table.
In goal therefore Jose Sa should continue as he is undoubtedly the strongest option in this positon, despite his recent admission that he doesnt mind conceding and a win is all that matters.
The back three we think should be unchanged from the one which defeated Brentford earlier this week. Max Kilman, Santiago Bueno and then Toti Gomes all retaining their places with no room for Dawson who’s returned from injury.
Moving forward Nelson Semedo will continue in his attacking wing-back role on the right side while Rayan Ait-Nouri will be on the left.
In midfield, Joao Gomes was brilliant against Brentford and will look to build upon that here. Next to him though, it looks unlikely that Lemina will feature and so Tommy Doyle is our choice to fill the gap.
The front three should see Matheus Cunha and Pablo Sarabia start in the inverted wing positions within which they are completely interchangable.
Up front, will be Hwang Hee-Chan as he prepares for his final game before heading off the represent South Korea in the Asian Cup.
