Wolves suffered another controverisal defeat on Monday night as they lost 3-2 away to Fulham.
In another game filled with VAR controversy, Fulham were awarded a late penalty to condemn Gary O’Neil’s side to a late defeat at Craven Cottage.
However, despite the manner of the loss, Wolves were far from brilliant on the night.
Away being widely praised for their 2-1 victory against Spurs, many players were below par.
Here are what we scored the Pack after their defeat in the capital.
GK – Jose Sa – 6/10

Helped keep Wolves in the game early on with some important saves after the opener. Couldn’t do anything about any of the goals.
RWB – Nelson Semedo – 5/10

Arguably at fault for the first two goals. The opener comes from his side as Fulham breezed through his flank before sending the ball into the box. While the penalty decision is unfortunate, his challenge gave the referee something to think about.
CB – Santiago Bueno – 6/10

Not a terrible Premier League debut after but still oversaw three goals against his side. The first one could have easily been preventable if someone marked Alex Iwobi.
CB – Max Kilman – 6/10

Like Bueno, didn’t do too much wrong but Wolves can’t be conceding three goals to a team that had only netted 10 Premier League goals before the game. Kilman also needs to be a bit more street-wise. He may have got Carlos Vinicius sent off if he made more of a meal out of their late interaction. Craig Dawson was clearly a miss.
CB – Toti Gomes – 6/10

Didn’t have his best game at the back. Had some bright sparks in the attacking areas but was poor defensively.
LWB – Rayan Ait-Nouri – 6/10

Didn’t really have any chance to impact the game after he went off early injured. Hopefully, it was only a precautionary change and he won’t be out as long as Pedro Neto.
CM – Jean-Ricner Bellegarde – 7/10

Didn’t track Iwobi’s run for the opener. However, made it up with a sensational play to create the equaliser. The midfielder cut inside and completely ghosted through the Fulham defender before a perfect cross straight to Matheus Cunha’s head.
CM – Mario Lemina – 6/10

Certainly had his moments in the game. The midfielder played a great ball to Hwang Hee-Chan early on where he’d go on to hit the bar. However, allowed Fulham to have too much control in the middle. His yellow, while soft, was stupid.
CM – Joao Gomes – 5/10

The weakest of the midfield three. Gomes struggled to truly have a big impact on the game until the final moments and all for the wrong reasons. While the penalty was highly controversial, his challenge still allowed VAR to make a decision. His yellow also means he will be suspended for Arsenal.
ST – Hwang Hee-Chan – 7/10

Was brilliant in the first half and caused the Fulham defence plenty of problems both on and off the ball. He could have easily opened the scoring as well when he hit the bar early on. After a quieter second period, he looked like he’d be Wolves’ hero as he won and scored a penalty to equalise. However, late drama prevented the visitors from earning a point.
ST – Matheus Cunha – 7/10

Got the equaliser just when Wolves needed it. While it was it simple header for the striker, it is one you’ve still got to take and Cunha made no mistake. Otherwise, the striker looked lively up front and it was certainly one of his best games so far.
Sub – Matt Doherty – 6/10

Offered an attacking threat but Wolves clearly missed Ait-Nouri. Doherty being right-footed and on the left flank didn’t help the situation.
Sub – Sasa Kalajdzic – 6/10

Didn’t really make the impact Wolves needed when he came on.
Sub – Tommy Doyle – 6/10

Didn’t have time to do anything of note.
