Paul Merson has predicted the result of Wolves’ Monday night clash with Everton for Sportskeeda.
Wolves came within minutes of making it four Premier League wins in a row for the first time ever last weekend.
A stoppage-time Leeds penalty denied them but Merson thinks Wolves will get back to winning ways against Rafa Benitez’s side.
Former Arsenal and England man Merson, who also works as a pundit for Sky Sports, thinks Wolves will win 2-1.

Merson’s prediction
“Everton conceded four goals in the last 15 minutes against Watford and were in complete disarray.
“They have a lot of work to do ahead of this game, and I don’t see them mounting an immediate recovery from what was an absolutely shocking result.
“Wolves have been a good team so far, but they’ve been unlucky. They’re in a bit of a false position at the moment, and they’ve played well but haven’t been able to put their chances away.
“They were undone by a stoppage-time penalty last weekend, and I’d back them to go the distance against Everton. Prediction: Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Everton

Monday’s opponents folded from 2-1 up against Watford last time around to lose 5-2.
That was staggering for a team managed by Benitez, who is renowned for his organisation and defensive discipline.
Everton will be looking for a response, but Wolves will also be fired up to get the win they missed out on against Leeds.
If Wolves do get in front, they need to stop sitting off and defending quite so much, instead trying to put teams to the sword.
