Wolves are aiming to end their winless start to the Premier League season when they face off with Brighton and Hove Albion.
It has been a dismal start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
While they showed signs of promise across the 90 minutes and were perhaps somewhat hard done by, Wolves lost 2-1 vs Manchester City last time out.
Gary O’Neil’s men have now failed to win any of their opening eight Premier League fixtures this term.
They also have the leakiest defence in the top flight in 2024/25 by some distance, shipping a staggering 23 goals in just eight matches.
Next up for the Midlands outfit is a 3pm kick-off on Saturday that sees Wolves travel to Brighton, who sit fifth in the Premier League table.
Another defeat is expected, with Chris Sutton predicting Brighton to beat Wolves 2-1 on October 26th.

Jorgen Strand Larsen may set unwanted Premier League record during Brighton vs Wolves
While their defence has been woeful, Wolves’ attack has been decent, even if it’s nothing to write home about.
One of their more dangerous forward this term has been Jorgen Strand Larsen, who has scored three and assisted one in eight outings.
Ian Wright praised Strand Larsen recently, believing he has made a big difference at Wolves in 2024/25.
However, the 24-year-old may now be about to set a rather shocking Premier League record against Brighton.
Strand Larsen has been involved in four goals in his last seven Premier League appearances and ended on the losing side in all four games he has scored or assisted in.
The only other player to score or assist in four games and lose every single match in Premier League history was Watford midfielder Richard Johnson back in the 1999/00 season.
This means should Wolves lose to Brighton and Strand Larsen score or assist, he will be the first player in the competition’s history to lose five games while scoring or assisting in every single one.

Gary O’Neil harsh on Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen
Despite Strand Larsen being the club’s joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season, the Wolves manager has been pretty harsh on the striker recently.
O’Neil challenged Strand Larsen to improve his fitness for Wolves recently, claiming he doesn’t ‘look the same’ after 60-65 minutes.
He said: “Jorgen gave everything, but I’ve spoken to him a lot, he needs to get through longer than an hour before he looks tired.
“I’m sure I get criticised for taking centre-forwards off, but Jorgen in every game has run his race after 60, 65 minutes. He’s either got cramp or he doesn’t look the same.”
The comments are somewhat bizarre on O’Neil’s part given his side are struggling this season and he has still chosen to publically criticise one of their best performers.
