Four things we learned after Wolves stepped up in the second half to secure a 2-1 win over Fulham.
The side has returned to eighth in the Premier League with another crucial victory in the race for European football.
After a poor first half, Rayan Ait-Nouri brought the game to life with a great opening goal. Nelson Semedo then made it 2-0 with a fortunate deflected effort from distance.
Alex Iwobi then got his traditional goal against Wolves late in the game, but the hosts held on for another victory at Molineux.
After a terrible display against Newcastle last weekend, Gary O’Neil’s side got the job done against the Londoners despite the injuries.
Now the game has settled, we look at four things we learned for the fixture.
Injuries crippling Wolves

Wolves’ season is taking a turn for the worse in recent weeks. The club have been without their two top scorers Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan for the past few fixtures but against Fulham, their injury crisis worsened.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde was the first to go off after 10 minutes before Pedro Neto was forced off with a hamstring injury before half-time. Both Nelson Semedo and Joao Gomes picked up knocks as well throughout the game but were nursed through.
With an FA Cup quarter-final coming up next week, it is hard to see how Wolves are going to put together a fully fit starting XI.
Jose Sa answers critics

After his performance against Newcastle, many fans began to question Jose Sa in the net once more. The goalkeeper made a howler against the Magpies that really put the game out of sight before being forced off at half-time.
However, this weekend, the 31-year-old really stepped up and made two vital saves in the first half to keep Wolves in the game.
Then, in the second period, Fulham ramped up the pressure late on looking for a way back into the game when Wolves were 2-0 up. As a result, Sa was in the firing line again, producing multiple stops including a fantastic double save.
Unfortunately, he could not keep a clean sheet late on, but he certainly answered his critics with a great display between the sticks.
Joao Gomes may be Wolves’ most important player

While Rayan Ait-Nouri and Nelson Semedo may get the headlines for the goals, Joao Gomes was crucial in Wolves getting the victory against Fulham.
The midfielder really stepped up in the second half and helped Wolves completely dominate the pitch. Joao Gomes covered every inch of grass putting in multiple successful challenges while also completing some vital key passes.
His back-heel for Semedo really helped to bamboozle the Fulham backline which resulted in Wolves netting their second.
After spending a week out against Newcastle, it is clear that Joao Gomes is a vital player in getting the best out of his teammates.
European race still on

After a disastrous performance against Newcastle, it looked as if Wolves’ European hopes were short-lived. With an in-form Fulham side up next, and many players out injured, it seemed as if a draw was the best Wolves could hope for.
Yet, a 2-1 victory against the Londoners, has seen the side reclaim their spot eighth in the table. This place could well see Wolves achieve European football at the end of the season if the other English side performs well in the continental competitions.
Now, with the club having a break from Premier League football due to the FA Cup and the international break, Wolves are in a great position to kick on.
