Wolves clashed against Leicester City in the Premier League, looking to continue their incredible run of form.
Vitor Pereira’s men came into this match on a five-match winning streak, having beaten Southampton, Ipswich Town, West Ham, Tottenham and Manchester United.
A fixture against already relegated Leicester City was seen as a fantastic opportunity for Wolves to make it six in a row and complete a league double over the Foxes for the first time in 67 years.
Predictably, it was Matheus Cunha who gave Wolves the lead in the 33rd minute, sweeping the ball past Mads Hermansen inside the box.
Cunha then grabbed a perfect assist as Jorgen Strand Larsen clinically dispatched his chance before adding a third by teeing up Rodrigo Gomes to wrap up the points.
So, with all that said, here are things we learned from a three points that moved the Old Gold up to 13th.

Wolves will miss the Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha link-up
Wolves fans will be sad that Cunha is set to join Manchester United in the summer transfer window because, for all of his attitude problems, he is a truly special player.
During his time at Molineux, Cunha has developed a brilliant partnership with Rayan Ait-Nouri, and the duo combined for his goal.
The pair played a one-two with each other down the left before the Brazilian freed his teammate into space. Ait-Nouri then sent a pinpoint cross into Cunha, who slid the ball into the net.
It was an excellently worked goal, and one that reminded fans of how much they will miss the duo’s combination.
Ait-Nouri could also leave Molineux
Ait-Nouri’s assist against the Foxes was his 11th goal involvement of the campaign, and it took him ahead of Fulham’s Antonee Robinson for the most goals and assists of any Premier League defender this term.
Although supporters have accepted Cunha will leave, they will hope the club can hold onto the Algerian for at least another campaign.
However, with Liverpool showing an interest in Ait-Nouri – who could replace Andy Robertson – there are fears a bigger move is on the horizon.
For now, though, fans will just want to enjoy the 23-year-old marauding down the left flank.
Emmanuel Agbadou is the Premier League’s best January signing
Wolves season was transformed during the January transfer window when Emmanuel Agbadou was signed for £16.6 million.
Since then, the Ivorian has been a revelation in defence, helping solidify a once porous back line and playing a huge role in Wolves’ rapid rise under Pereira.
On Saturday afternoon, Agbadou was quality once more as he successfully shacked Jamie Vardy and was calmness personified at the back.
When looking at the rest of the league, it’s hard to find a better January signing than Agbadou, who continues to go from strength to strength.
Jose Sa makes himself a hero
Jose Sa has been criticised throughout this campaign as the Portuguese goalkeeper has made several mistakes between the posts.
Sa could leave Wolves this summer as Pereira potentially targets a new shot-stopper however, the 31-year-old made himself a hero against the Foxes
Jamie Vardy, who announced he would be leaving Leicester at the end of the campaign, won a controversial penalty after pushing his leg into the goalkeeper.
However, karma instantly struck the Englishman, who saw his spot kick get saved by Sa to preserve his sides clean sheet and make himself a hero when he’s often been a villain this term.
Jorgen Strand Larsen equals Raul Jimenez’s first season at Wolves
Raul Jimenez is Wolves best striker in Premier League history, but on the evidence of this season, Jorgen Strand Larsen could run him close.
The Norwegian marksman has been in searing form recently, scoring five goals in his last six games, including one against Leicester.
By netting at home to the Foxes, Strand Larsen remarkably equalled Jimenez’s tally of 13 in his first campaign at Molineux in 2018/19, demonstrating just how good he has been.
