Fans react as Jose Sa shines for Wolves against Manchester City

Some Wolves fans have been reacting after Jose Sa put in another fantastic performance yesterday.

The stopper was making his 16th appearance of the season in the Premier League.

He is yet to miss a game in the competition, and while he is playing like he is and providing he stays fit, it will stay that way.

Sa has very quickly established himself as a favourite at Molineux.

Eyebrows were raised when he came in as a replacement for Rui Patricio in the summer.

But Sa looks a superb addition and arguably looks to be an upgrade on his predecessor.

Yesterday at the Etihad Stadium, Sa was in inspired form for Wolves.

Sofascore data reveals he made eight saves in the game, with six of those saves coming from efforts inside the penalty area.

City really cranked up the pressure in the second-half following the red card for Raul Jimenez.

That was to be expected. But Sa was excellent, as was the defence in front of him.

In the end, it was a penalty that beat him. And that was difficult to stomach as replays showed Joao Moutinho never handled the ball.

Obviously, there was a lot of talk about a few incidents in the game.

That rather dominated the post-match chat.

But a number of fans did move to praise Sa, who probably put in one of his best displays to date for Wolves.

Even some City fans couldn’t help but praise Sa for his performance:
