Some fans have been praising Conor Coady after he shone against Chelsea for Wolves.
Bruno Lage’s side played out a goalless draw with the Blues at Molineux.
It was a pretty good first-half showing from Wolves, who showed no fear and created a number of decent chances.
They were winning the midfield battle and really stifled their opponents.
But the second-half was really poor, with Wolves sitting back and allowing Chelsea to dominate.

Whether that was an instruction or not, it was disappointing given that lively first 45 minutes.
At the end of the day though, Wolves have taken a point against a team that could very well be a Premier League title contender.
To keep a clean sheet against a team with the attacking talent Chelsea have is praise-worthy – and Coady was at the heart of a good defensive performance again.
Coady is perhaps in the best form of his Wolves career just at the moment.
He was superb against his former club against Liverpool recently, and was also fantastic against manchester City.
He didn’t deserve to be on the losing side in those games, and today he wasn’t and got the result his performance deserved.

It really is great to see Coady having improved so much.
There were lots of question marks against him at the end of last season, following some shaky displays throughout 2020/21.
But right now he looks like a top-quality Premier League centre-back.
