Confirmed Wolves XI to face West Ham as Rob Edwards makes just one change

Team news for Wolves’ clash against West Ham has now come through, with Rob Edwards having sights on a first win.

Wolves have struggled this season, picking up just three points in 19 games. Two of which have come away from Molineux.

Recent weeks have seen an uptick in performances, as the Wanderers were unlucky not to get results at the Emirates and Anfield.

Rob Edwards had some tough decisions to make after a resilient performance against Manchester United, in which Andre did not compete due to a suspension.

And those decisions have now been confirmed.

Will Wolves pick up their first win of the season against West Ham?

Wolves confirmed XI to face West Ham

Rob Edwards has opted to stick with what worked against Manchester United with just one change to his side.

Santiago Bueno comes in for Matt Doherty, and the returning Andre makes the bench instead. It is a bold call from the head coach as Wolves look for their first win of the season.

There is no room for some of the academy stars seen on the bench in recent weeks. Instead, Tawanda Chirewa, who has returned from AFCON, is back amongst the subs.

The Old Gold have proven they are able to compete against the very best in the Premier League, but they have not shown that at home yet.

For some reason, the Wanderers cannot seem to get going in front of their home crowd, and against West Ham, it is a great chance to put that to bed.

The Hammers are also fighting for their Premier League survival, and they need to win just as much as Wolves do.

It should make for an interesting battle between current head coach Rob Edwards and former Wolves chief Nuno Espirito Santo.

Let’s hope for a big three points!
