Confirmed Wolves XI vs Nottingham Forest… Pedro Lima makes debut as Pereira makes five changes

Vitor Pereira has now named his starting XI to face Nottingham Forest.

Wolves are looking to continue their good form under the new manager, but a tough game awaits tonight at Molineux.

Forest are flying high in third place, with Nuno Espirito Santo very much working the magic he used to at Wolves.

It will be good to see Nuno back at Molineux tonight, but of course, Wolves fans will hope Pereira and the team stop him in his tracks.

Nuno has noticed more confidence in Wolves under Pereira, and hopefully, the players will use that confidence to turn in a top performance under the lights at Molineux tonight.

And fans can now sink their teeth into the teamsheet.

In goal, Jose Sa makes his 13th Premier League appearance of the season.

The big news is that Pedro Lima is making his Premier League debut. He starts at right-back, with Rayan Ait-Nouri on the left, in what looks like a back four.

Matt Doherty and Santiago Bueno start at centre-back.

In midfield, Joao Gomes and Tommy Doyle start, with Goncalo Guedes and Rodrigo Gomes out wide.

In Matheus Cunha’s absence, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Hwang Hee-chan look to be set to play in a strike partnership.

Mario Lemina and Pablo Sarabia both return to the bench after their recent injuries, but there is no Andre, who has been back in Brazil for the birth of his son.

Wolves can burst Nuno’s bubble on latest return to Molineux

Wolves are without Matheus Cunha tonight, after he was hit with an FA charge and suspension – and it’ll be really interesting to see how the team gets on in his absence.

He could be a huge miss, and it’s the first time this season in the Premier League that he won’t be playing for Wolves.

It’s uncharted waters, but Wolves still have big threats such as Jorgen Strand Larsen and Goncalo Guedes.

Pereira will hope those two in particular will step up in the Brazilian’s absence.

And needless to say it’s a huge night for Lima, and hopefully the youngster can make the most of his opportunity.
