Wolves are preparing for a blockbuster clash at Anfield as the Old Gold battle for three points against Liverpool.
After Wolves beat Aston Villa 2-0 the last time they featured in the Premier League, Vitor Pereira’s side is high on confidence.
Added to the derby win, the Old Gold progressed in the FA Cup, beating Blackburn Rovers away from home to book their spot in the next round.
Now, a whole other level awaits Wolves, as Pereira heads to Anfield with his squad in a bid to cause an upset to Arne Slot’s table-toppers.

Wolves team news vs Liverpool – Jean-Ricner Bellegarde dropped
While Chris Sutton predicted a Liverpool win over Wolves, the visitors will not go down without a fight, as Pereira made clear.
The Wolves manager ensured his players will fight to beat Liverpool, with the Portuguese now naming his squad to face the Reds.
As expected, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Hwang Hee-chan are out due to injury, seeing Pablo Sarabia, Goncalo Guedes and Matheus Cunha lead the attack.
Surprisingly, Pereira opted to drop Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who was fantastic against Villa, seeing the Frenchman make way to the bench.
Jose Sa returns between the sticks, with Nelson Semedo, Emmanuel Agbadou, Matt Doherty, Toti Gomes and Rayan Ait-Nouri making up the defence.
Joao Gomes and Andre link up in midfield, with newbies Marshall Munetsi and Nasser Djiga on the bench.
The changes represent five tweaks from Wolves’ win over Blackburn Rovers.
Wolves vs Liverpool head-to-head
Despite picking up an FA charge, Slot will be on the touchline against Wolves as the Dutchman has time to contest his actions against Everton at the end of the Merseyside derby.
How much of an impact the Liverpool manager’s presence will have on his squad remains to be seen, with Pereira hoping for an upset at Anfield.
