BBC pundit Chris Sutton has given his score prediction ahead of Liverpool vs Wolves in the Premier League tonight.
Wanderers are at Anfield and are looking to beat Jurgen Klopp’s side and move away from the relegation zone.
Wolves beat the Reds 3-0 only a few weeks ago, in what was probably the best result and performance of the season.
Tonight’s game will be the fourth meeting between the sides this season.
They met in the FA Cup, with the first game being marred by the controversial decision to chalk off Toti Gomes’ late goal.
Wolves have shown they can mix it with Liverpool.
But Klopp’s side have improved in the Premier League since the last meeting and revenge will be on their mind.
It should be another really good game, and Sutton has given his thoughts ahead of the contest.
He feels there will be nothing to separate the two teams.
Predicting a 1-1 draw, he said (BBC Sport): “Whenever I see Wolves, I think they have improved and the only really poor result they have had since Julen Lopetegui took charge in November was their home defeat by Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago.
“Liverpool, meanwhile, continue to struggle. They looked disjointed when they attacked Crystal Palace on Saturday and that display showed they have more problems than just a shaky defence.
“I think Jurgen Klopp’s side will score this time. But I still don’t feel like I can trust them to win. Wolves don’t score many, but one goal might be enough to get them a draw at Anfield.”
Wolves can win against Liverpool tonight, as Chris Sutton predicts 1-1 draw
There’s no doubt Wolves are getting better and better under Lopetegui.
The Bournemouth result was very disappointing, but that was a blip which can happen.
Wolves looked a much better outfit these days under Lopetegui. They’re more organised and are looking a bit more effective up top, although there is still a lot of work to be done there.
Wolves can beat Liverpool this evening.
The previous three meetings have shown they can mix it with the Reds. The players should be confident of getting a result.
