Wolves midfielder Andre was in action for Brazil once again, playing 90 minutes in the World Cup Qualifiers against Paraguay.
After recording a win against Ecuador to kick off the September international break, Brazil suffered defeat against Paraguay.
Andre was selected to start both games, playing a part in the victory and Tuesday night’s bitterly disappointing loss.
Wolves will be delighted that the deadline-day signing will return to Molineux fit and ready to play in the Premier League, as the September international break comes to a close.

Brazilian media react to Andre’s performance against Paraguay
It was a difficult game for Brazil, who failed to impose themselves on Paraguay, who took the lead in the 20th minute.
Andre impressed for Brazil against Ecuador however, like many of his teammates, he had less of an impact against the Albirroja
Brazilian media reacted to the Selecao’s defeat, with Zero Hora providing their opinion on Andre’s display, handing him a 5/10 rating.
“He couldn’t distribute good passes like he did against Ecuador. He stayed hidden.”

A similar evaluation was provided by ge.globo, who sympathised for the Wolves midfielder due to the lack of cohesion in midfield.
“It’s hard to even make a fair assessment of a player who was practically left without a role as the game unfolded.
“As Paraguay dropped their lines and waited for Brazil, the expectation was that the defenders would speed up the ball out so that the team could build up a more aggressive phase, but it ended up being André who had to drop back to try to play this role.
“He was solid in defensive transition, he occupied the spaces well, but the reality is that he played little part in the game.”
It wasn’t all doom and gloom for Andre on the night, as Terra rated the 23-year-old as Brazil’s best midfielder, scoring a higher rating than Premier League duo Lucas Paqueta and Bruno Guimaraes.
GOAL applauded the combative summer signing’s approach to his defensive role in midfield, saying, “[Andre] Flew into tackles, patrolled space, but didn’t move the ball too quickly.”
Fellow Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes didn’t feature for Brazil
Andre will be thrilled to have played 90 minutes for his country, as he continues to assert himself as a leading midfielder in Dorival Junior’s set up.
It was a positive night for Wolves in that Andre got through the game with full fitness and Joao Gomes didn’t feature, boosting his fitness for the domestic challenges that lie ahead.

Gomes only played 10 minutes of the September international break, coming on as a late substitute in Brazil’s victory over Ecuador.
Wolves fans are still waiting to see Andre and Gomes combine in midfield, with a chance of the duo’s quality fusing in the Premier League as Newcastle United visit Molineux next.
