‘A bit false’: Paul Merson predicts who’s winning on Saturday – Bournemouth or Wolves

Wolves will take-on Bournemouth at the Vitality on Saturday in a game which both will be desperate to win. Paul Merson has had his say on this weekend’s game.

Beyond the points that are on offer here for the victors, there is a secondary story which we are following.

Gary O’Neil against his former employers who unfairly sacked him, although that decision now looks silly.

Ahead of the game, various pundits have had their predictions for the game. David Seaman predicted a 2-1 Wolves win here as he admitted he is always positive about Wolves.

Now, Paul Merson who’s been full of praise for Pedro Neto, has had his say on this weekend’s result.

Paul Merson predicts Wolves v Bournemouth

Writing in his now weekly prediction column on SportsKeeda, Merson predicted a 2-1 away victory for Wolves.

He argued that Wolves deserve more points than they’ve got currently and therefore a win here his likely.

“Wolves have been getting the rewards they deserve. They were the better team against Liverpool in the first half, and they did well against Man United.

“Their position’s a bit false at the moment, and they should have more points. I’m going to back Wolves to win this game.”

Wolves have been hard done by

Many Wolves fans will feel recent good results are deserved, after multiple unfortunate defeats.

Lack of finishing plagued Wolves time after time this season. The loss against United could have easily went the other way.

Another loss was the defeat to Liverpool in which Wolves really should’ve wrapped it up in the first half.

A win here would set Wolves well on the way to making fears of relegation a thing of the past.
