Conor Coady gets a ribbing following latest Instagram post

Conor Coady’s latest Instagram post prompted a few light-hearted comments from some Wolves players past and present.

The defender is currently gearing up for the World Cup with England, with the tournament starting today.

Hosts Qatar take on Ecuador in the first game, and the Three Lions take to the field tomorrow against Iran in their first group stage match.

England have come into the tournament in pretty poor form, and will hoping to settle any nerves with a victory over Iran at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Leading up to this first game, the England players have been training hard in the blistering heat, as well as enjoying some down time.

It is important for everyone to be feeling relaxed and ready going into the tournament.

Sportswear manufacturer adidas has done a campaign ahead of the tournament, taking pictures of several players with the hashtag #createdwithadidas.

Coady has participated, and yesterday he uploaded one picture from his photoshoot of him sporting an orange sweater vest and yellow t-shirt combination, with orange tracksuit bottoms.

The 29-year-old is holding a pair of boots, and captions the photo ‘Cleaning the tools for a big month ahead…’

Several of Coady’s Wolves teammates past and present have commented on his post, and the reaction was mixed to say the least.

Pedro Neto: “I am really proud my brother. Finally, you got what you want. That model picture is fantastic mate.”

Matt Doherty: “Just lol.”

Ruben Neves: “Naaaaaah.”

John Ruddy: “Nice of them to let them wear his own clothes!!”

Morgan Gibbs-White: “Wow you’ve really changed but I’m enjoying it so much.”

Jose Sa: “Amazing bro.”

Barry Douglas: “Best I’ve seen you look laaaaa.”

Dave Edwards: “Oh my sweater vest.”

Fashion is obviously subjective, and it would appear Coady has very much split the audience with this one.
