Wolves were comfortably beaten by Manchester United at Molineux, and there was a telling moment involving Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Wolves lost 4-1 at Molineux, with the Old Gold putting in yet another woeful display.
There was one period before the half-time whistle where Wolves looked decent, with the impressive Jean-Ricner Bellegarde equalising after Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring.
Our player ratings from that disappointing 4-1 defeat. Any you disagree with?
But United stepped it up after the break, and Wolves had no answers.
It was an awful display at both ends of the pitch, and more criticism has gone the way of Jorgen Strand Larsen.
And tonight, there was a very awkward moment for the Norwegian at Molineux.
Jorgen Strand Larsen sarcastically cheered off against Man United by Wolves fans

It has been a season to forget for Strand Larsen.
The number nine was something of a revelation last term. But in 2025/26, he has struggled massively.
The striker has suffered from losing key attacking players and also fitness issues. But fans have also felt as though Strand Larsen could have done a lot more.
Against United, Strand Larsen completed just 5/9 (56%) passes, and won just 2/12 duels (via Sofascore).
Should JSL be dropped for Wolves’ next game vs Arsenal?
Some awkward scenes at Molineux tonight 😬
In the 69th minute, Rob Edwards took Strand Larsen off, replacing him with Tolu Arokodare. As his number flashed up, many fans sarcastically cheered.
Strand Larsen smiled as though he couldn’t believe it, and Liam Keen reported on X that he ‘turned to look at the fans on a few occasions and looked furious, Rob Edwards had a word in his ear to calm him down’.
Keen then said in a separate post: “Edwards just had a quick word with Larsen again before walking back onto the pitch at FT – clearly trying to avoid the striker reacting to anything.”
Of course, earlier this season, we saw Strand Larsen front up the South Bank following Wolves’ defeat to Burnley. So perhaps Edwards was looking to avoid any confrontations.

Strand Larsen’s starting berth in real jeopardy
Strand Larsen is not in a good moment, and those ironic cheers from Wolves will not help.
But it’s understandable he got such a reaction, because Wolves’ number nine was poor again tonight.
We are seeing this kind of display time and time again and fans have grown tired – and now Edwards has a big call to make.
Tolu Arokodare has not shown much in a Wolves shirt, but he also hasn’t had many starting opportunities.
With Strand Larsen clearly struggling, surely the Nigerian has to be considered to start the next game.
